Another small improvement, as far is I can tell there’s no sorting going on for Inventories on the INV screen after the inventory type, but it would be nice if the inventories could also be sorted by the name of their location… as an example, I’d expect Moria - Vallis
and Moria - Montem
to be right next to each other in this list by default, same with OT-442b
and OT-442h
. Makes it easier to find stuff.
OT-442h - b04559bc0e3d7110f14ca2b0854ae5a3
VH-331a - 99eb57fefd18101662bf834cbeea34ed
OT-889a - 8dc48980bd6bf8f86b998ee8b037759c
OT-442b - 79aa06ba4348525455b289a7d2f99ae8
OT-580b - 7f1135f5d7792a058c8be66e7cbcb536
XG-452f - 22126ccf3dc8f30dea466931987d09fa
OT-580c - 751410b4f53c39a9a9cb3b771af8363e
PlanetIds: it was looking so promising that they were sorted by this alphanumeric ID, but vallis messed that up
However, if you were to pull the alphanumerics from FIO /storage/{username} i’m willing to bet they’re sorted by either the StorageId or AddressableId
This would be confirmed if the order (or reverse) is the order you built your bases in
that or it’s by Type
Editing to add: this is almost certainly sorted alphabetically by type
with FTL...
Ship...
STL...
Storage
and Warehouse....
being the primary sort; with a secondary sort of AddressableID descending, so new bases/storages at the top of each Type Group
Seems to have an HQ relocation bug
when I 1st settled KI-401d, I tried moving my HQ there and it went to phobos. While I was thinking maybe I missclicked, I tried again a few days ago to move my HQ to deimos this time, and it landed on phobos again.
Not sure why or how it happens
Thanks for letting us know! I reset your hq relocation timer, let me know if at least that worked out
its really no big deal, just a bit annoyed to move all my fabs to deimos to realise it didnt move there but thanks!
I can confirm it is bugged this time
This one seems quite difficult to reproduce. Could you tell us which browser you were using? Did you do any other actions between selecting the site and clicking the relocate button?
using chrome, I only tabbed out to take a screenshot between selecting the new planet and relocating
Bug?
I had accepted a contract where I had to sell 200 SF. Inventory of my planet only had ~50, but the fuel tank of my ship was full. I was able to click “fulfill”, but got an eternal “waiting” style… opened the contract again, clicked “fulfill” again, waiting…
→ Seems a contract is “fulfillable” when enough SF is in the fuel tanks, but by some reason it does not get fulfilled.
A new player “Larppa” reported that he didn’t have any ships. I asked him to click on the FLT button in the left sidebar, and he said that the window was empty.
I advised him to COLIQ and after he’d done that he said the ships were now there, so it seems likely that they really were missing, rather than him looking in the wrong place.
I’ve never heard of this happening before, so thought it was worth reporting (with his permission). As far as I can tell he joined around 20:00 UTC on 05 Aug 2021, so presumably it would have happened then. The full text of his description of the problem is as follows:
I just started playing and i cant find my ships/fleet, even when clicking the “Fleet” toggle button on the map. I elected to ignore this and tried to make a base in moria/montem but i lack the material to make it. The “Storage Location” says that there is a dropdown menu where i can select my ship where i have the materials but i dont have anything there. I fear i’ve lost my ships and cant make any progress in the game.
Also when spamming the fleet button in the “System map: moria” it show a tag blinking the start middle of the solar system. is it possible that my ships have somehow went in to the star and got destroid?
The missing fleet problem happened again. This time to a player who joined the help chat at 06:37 UTC and the global chat at 06:53 UTC on 07 Aug 2021. A COLIQ fixed it, as before.
So it’s definitely a problem. Possibly new? I’ve never seen anyone report missing ships before. Although it is reminiscent of a problem that people used to report, where their starting materials would be missing. i.e. the ships would exist, but be empty. I haven’t seen anyone mention that one recently though.
Thanks, I added a ticket to investigate this issue!
In the population model, when there are 0 of a population on a planet, but open jobs, it seems that no unemployment bonus is generated. See Griffonstone (LS-300c) reports 4-8. Happiness drops as explorer’s grace wears off, but then starts increasing once the first TEC is spawned.
Thank you, good catch, we’ll fix that!
Hello,
There needs to be some sort of a shipment recovery system when someone absconds with your shipment. It seems really silly and incredibly frustrating that there is no recovery method, or really any impact besides a rating for someone who doesn’t care about the game, obviously if they just disappeared, or are just trolling. Really frustrating to try to buy food, then have someone just not deliver it.
Best regards,
MrAlGore
Hi!
New to game and find it really appealing and slightly addicting.
It would be nice if there was an option to assign a unit value while placing a production order. If the optional field is left empty the produced unit value will be 0.
Since there is no distinction between produced and bought units, its hard to keep track costs and profits for your mixed stock. If I have the option to assign my own value, it’s up to me how precise that production value is.
Best Regards
Helter
Minor bug to drop here, but bugs are bugs:
When registering your account, the way windows (at least) copies stuff made me discover that the verification code system doesn’t merely warn you the code is invalid if there’s a space at any point (including the end), but full-on has an error of some kind, like that space genuinely broke something. Additionally, this error appeared after I clicked submit, not after I clicked out off the box or anything.
Should be as simple as a single line of code to regex spaces or something though.
Refueling in space bug - and no where to get help.
My ship is currently in orbit around my home planet without enough SF to land. I brought up my second ship to orbit with fuel but cannot transfer between them.
I was told I had to ask for help from Devs for this - but have tried asking for help in multiple locations now (game Help chat, Discord, now here) and cannot seem to get in contact with anyone.
Can someone please help so I can deliver these goods to people?
And can we add a feature so our own ships can swap at least fuel between each other in orbit?
-Uber
Hi @Ubermensch, this was really unfortunate timing, but molp will be back next week and should be able to look into this! Stay strong!
Sorry it took so long, your ship has enough fuel to de-orbit now.
