Bugs and Improvements

@molp : It’s happened a few times already where a user is super frustrated by it so it may be worthwhile to add hardware acceleration checking and somehow telling the user if it’s disabled. WebDev isn’t my wheelhouse, but you could probably leverage this: https://github.com/TimvanScherpenzeel/detect-gpu

Corp HQs are buildable in Faction Space;

In game description:

Corporation Headquarters are the first project a newly founded corporation has to build in order to function properly. Headquarters have to be built on a planet outside faction space and will provide a 10% production boost for all members on that planet.

Yet, OT-580a and VH-331b have corp HQs on.

Bug report: Planetary Project contribution buffer is not reactive, if you contribute commodities, nothing changes until you close the buffer and reopen it.

Thanks, this will be fixed with the next release

I did some research and unfortunately there is no general browser API to detect if HW acceleration is enabled or not :frowning:

I would like to suggest an improvement of the Commodity exchanges. To be more specific - the orders itself.
In my last (real life) position I had to trade with the energy exchange. The software/exchange (PEGAS) itself looked like a normal excel sheet.
But it had a cool function. Once you put a bid you could modify it (with right click, prompting a modify dialogue). And this would be great for ingame Commodity Exchanges as well.
If it was possible to modify the quantity or the price of an order - with one or few clicks, I would be happy. For me it seems not like a huge change in the system but it would add comfort.

There are two JS sections. One near Benten space (containing Nemesis) and the other south of Hortus in what is labelled JP in the new map demo (JP-324 is adjascent to this 2nd JS grouping).

The bonus granted by an expert is a fixed value which is simply added to the workforce’s efficiency. For example, a workforce operating at 90% efficiency will operate at 102.48% efficiency once 3 experts are activated at the base.

I believe this is no longer true and is now multiplicative

Thanks, I fixed that!

Just a heads up - I’m seeing a bid for INS on the Antares CX, from a liquidated company. Presumably this should have been removed when they liquidated. Not sure if it’s something that needs attention, or if it would fix itself eventually.

Idea for a quick optimization of “sales” offers on LM:

It already exists for shipping, but add “auto provision” for sales-offers!

The whole process is three steps already, so where is the harm to have “auto provision” like on shipping? The material gets blocked right away, and once paid, gets transfered.

  • No payment, no transfer
  • No provisioning, no payment

By this, typical “building material offers” or consumables can be completed quicker. It can be quite annoying to depend on a LM-buy and then have to wait… shorter delivery times do not exist, and i can’t be sure the seller has the goods “on hand”.

Ideally it would be noted in the offer that it is an “instant sale” right in the LM-list…

(same could be done for buy-offers: auto-pay if goods are provisioned…)

Saw a bug/overlook. In the admin centre, under candidates, if the candidate has changed corp, the corp doesn’t change and still links to the old corp

Thanks, this is a known bug, but since the way elections and government in general work will change in the near future, we won’t fix this right now.

I have a very small wish: When doing a lot of shipment jobs it is really hard to verify proper logistic with all the packages. It would be such a big improvement just to add the destination of a shipment into the hover text or tooltip that is shown with mouse over the item. Thanks in advance

not a bug per say, but seems weird that I cant even pull my 200 workers from the pool when I am alone on a planet…

Improve local market to not reload when clicking on an ad - so it won’t reset the scroll state

When I click on “HQ” from my base summary, the whole browser window just goes to solid white and I have to reload the page. Someone in the help chat suggested this is a known issue but I couldn’t find anything here. They also suggested just trying again once in a while, and it did eventually work for me after about 10 minutes of trying. It would be nice if it worked on the first try

My browser is Chrome.

Idea: In that blank space in the header between the screen information and the license, it would be great to list current liquid assets.

Recently found a bug. Unfortunately I didn’t get a screenshot :(.

I was on the experts buffer (via viewing my base info) and found I had 4 experts assigned, but in the ‘available’ column for agriculture (where all four experts were) it said ‘-2’. My efficiency gain was showing something around 12% I think, which is correct for four experts however I should’ve only had two because I just started the game yesterday. I removed all the experts and went to display that I had 2 available, and once I added them back into agriculture everything went back to how it should be (2 experts assigned and 0 available in agriculture). However someone could take advantage of this and duplicate their experts - that being said I don’t know how this bug happened and I didn’t try to take any advantage of it myself and I removed the duplicated experts as soon as I discovered them (and I believe they’ve now just disappeared… somewhere). N.B. I just started yesterday, I only had two experts and now I have just two again, and I used the ‘carbon farmer’ starting resources. Thanks very much :-).

Feature requests:

Add a link to the forum in the HELP menu the same way there’s one for the discord.
On Create Screen (CS), allow the option to clone an existing screen (tile arrangement and contents) for the new screen
