Allow filling COGC for multiple weeks like POPI

Similar to how the POPI system works, allow someone to fill the COGC buffers to auto fulfill assuming enough is present.

Because the COGC requirement changes based off base count, perhaps some simple math like allowing the max submission to be current weekly count * 5 . Knowing that if base count increases it won’t be able to completely fill it for the whole 5 weeks, but it will still auto provision from what is left each 10 day reset.

Its another piece of busy work as a Gov to fill this vs filling up POPI for 30+ days at a time.

easily one of the main reasons why i don’t gov planets-this and actually needing to vote for cogc instead of it just carrying my vote over until i manually swap it

a change I’d like to see is allow filling CoGC without having a base on the planet. POPI can be filled from warehouse/ship inventories but CoGC must be filled from a base inventory for some reason. if CoGC could be filled from other inventories, it would enable a gov helper business that goes around and fills a bunch of planets

This. I find it bizarre that this aspect of governance would be intended to miss this kind of consistency, and it very much makes governing more tedious than the gameloop deserves.

A government warehouse should be added where the governor can store supplies, and both POPI and COGC will automatically consume them.Precisely because I can’t be bothered to keep track of public finances all the time, I’d rather be a state representative than a governor :face_with_bags_under_eyes:

Along with a slider to determine how much gets fed into the POPI - for example so you can set it to dump 10 DW into the POPI at every run - because on small planets a full 50 DW would be overkill.

Strongly agreed on this as well. COGC is a pain to keep track of, while POPI is a breeze to fill for a while so that even if you forget to keep it topped up you have some buffer before it’s an actual issue.

It could be interesting; instead of a static multiplier, max submission was tied to something like warehouse level.
So current weekly count * warehouse level.

A challenging bit with this would be designating which mats go to POPI or COGC, since there is overlap. And it cannot just be an automatic pull if the mat is available, because sometimes governors want to leave some POPI slots empty.

Which is why I want sliders for the POPI filling - from 0 to full so that it can be selected.

COGC should just be automatically filled.

Added to that. Can we make it so POPI and COGC are on a fixed universal schedule, but prorated if stuff is added during a cycle instead of dictating when the cycle has started? That way we can have all POPI on the same schedule instead of an increasingly chaotic circus?
