Unable to Calculate Flight Path

Built 2 new HCB’s around 5 days ago and any attempt to fly them off the shipyard leaves them stuck in a perpetual calculating state. I’ve tried browser refresh, deleting cookies, changed to microsoft edge, even attempting to fly them via mobile on safari with no avail. unsure what to do at this point so some assistance would be appreciated! I’ve attached a picture below.

Hey, still stuck with 2 ships that I can’t do anything with. Can’t even repair them. this is my cry for help.

I think we had that issue in the past. I remember vaguely that it happens when the reactor has an output that is smaller than what the emitters use.

Can you try swapping the FTL reactor for a stronger one?

Alright, I’ll give it a try thanks!

With a large STL tank (no idea who needs that) a QCR can’t move a HCB ship. If you have this reactor installed then this is likely causing the flight unable to load.
The cheaper solution would be to downgrade the large STL tank to a medium one. Or a small one depending on what you use, you should check in BLU and start a test flight there.

Wouldn’t the best solution be to either fix the part specs so that combination of parts will work or fix the blueprint design system so that combination is disallowed?

at least the flight planner should show a warning for “not enough reactor power” in BLU test flights

True, but people might not always think to do a test flight. Maybe another fix option would be to make test flights mandatory before a design is used.

Yea i do not test the flight paths of my ships and haphazardly put components together. When creating the blueprint I don’t think there was any indicator that the ship would not be able to move as it had positive acceleration and FTL speeds so I was under the assumption it would always be able to go somewhere.
