I guess most people here are interested in space and sci-fi games.

It’s too early to say how much tycoon gameplay there will be but there should be a lot of fun making some money while having fun with friends and exploring what the game has to offer.

I do like the approach that you won’t be able to just click a button to get things done. Trading? All that cargo has to be moved, which takes time and people (buddies, AI crew or AI NPCs at the station) who need to be payed. Transferring fuel? It doesn’t teleport neither. And the larger ships such as the Javelin have NPC crews including cooks and janitors who have their work-play-sleep schedules and shifts… and costs. And they can mutiny if you push them too hard. Which won’t be just an alert, but them physically killing you in-game.

This should help make tycoon-y gameplay more interesting, and of course more living with the 3D.
