Hello, i have a smal gripe that i would like to bring up. i have recently made a major uppgrade to one of my starter ships. It was damaged when i did the upgrade. Its still damaged after the upgrade. but is now significantly more expencive to rapair. as i have not been able to take 15% damage in 1 day its just kinda sux to now have to spend mony on repairs.
My proposition is that an upgrade of a ship should leave it as 100% durability.
Thanks for the considiration

I think this would be fair as an option when upgrading, where you can provide the repair mats as well as upgrade ones and it does it all at once
They could add a reminder to repair your ships before you start an upgrade. This issue happened to many people in the past.
if you upgrade. what was already damaged will remain same. I do not know what did you upgraded, but replacing basic hull with reinforced means replacing the old damaged one. It should show less damage.
I once tried to upgrade shields, and it adds only excessive costs with little benefits. Keep it basic, and do not worry. Repairs are cheaper.
I am currently testing “drone repair” on ships
Ships retain their previous damage percentage from before the upgrade. If you upgrade to more expensive components, it needs the same percentage of more expensive components, thus the repair becomes more expensive. Standard procedure I have seen for this is to just repair immediately before upgrading.
