Panel snapping

I often wish that the panels on the screens would snap when being resized. This would be a cool QOL feature. Some rules I can think of:

Snap at half of the distance
Snap to other borders
Snap at third of the distance

English is not m first language and I dont know if you understand the idea. If you dont understand it, just ask (:

On top of that, resize should be possible to drag the corner to resize height/width at the same time, not one at a time

when opening a window, I wish some opened a bit bigger - a COGC or POPI window is pretty much useless when it opens initially - you have to resize it so you can see/do anything (COGC is really annoying - just big enough to see a portion of the industries, but not all of them).

you can do that with Refined Prun, it’s the “Buffers” tab in XIT SETTINGS.

yeah i dont know but its sounds good

Totally get what you mean  — you’re talking about panel snap behavior when resizing UI elements, like how windows or panes “jump” into place at certain points to make layouts easier.

Here’s how I’d phrase your idea in clear English:

I often wish the panels on the screens would snap when being resized. This would be a nice quality‑of‑life feature. Some snapping rules I can think of:

• Snap at halfway points
• Snap to other panelborders
• Snap at one‑third intervals

If this doesn’t make sense, just ask — happy to explain more! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Sounds like a solid suggestion!
