the problem is that we have a situation where MM prices compete with players bothering to produce the commodities, as we see with B-fabs and with RAT in much of the galaxy

This is why raising the T1 goods MM’s was also discussed. And should also be done on a even slower adjustment schedule, as that production deficit is even more severe than the IDC overproduction.

As that’s the other “half” of this equation. Those cheap MM’s artificially hurt new players by making ROI for their items worse and help old players @Counterpoint. This was the other half of the post I originally made on this too.
