Fuel transfer in space orbiting a system (stuck ship)

A way to refuel ships orbiting a system.

Unsure what category to put this on so I’ll explain. I have a ship that I aborted its flight plan and is now stuck orbiting a system, VH-778. I sent a rescue ship for fuel. It is now orbiting 778a but cannot orbit the system itself. The stuck ship cannot fly to a planet either due to being low on STL.

How do I get my ship back?
