CX Warehouse Revamp

  • Warehouses should have unlimited slot rentals, no more cap at 1000
  • Type an integer to define how many units you want to rent (with a preview of the costs) so we don’t need to buy a new mouse
  • Cost formula should be changed from linear to a power function
    • f(n) = 25+(25*n^1.301)

This results in 1 warehouse unit costing $50, and 1,000 units costing ~$200,000. Will make it ever so slightly cheaper in the early game, and will help to tamper inflation from big players like me who rent a ton of space.

The crossover is around N=100 where it becomes more expensive than N*100. Variables could be tweaked.

Could also do a more complex formula where it has stronger exponential scaling above 500 or 1000 units to implement a stronger soft cap.

This would be an interesting change. I think it creates an interesting dynamic and could be an improvement esp with an option to merge warehouse storage with your base storage.
An autosize option could be good too. Something where its currently inventory size + x predefined amount.
I think a passive equation (yours or less aggressive) would be best. Annother issue is you can largely bypass storage by storing in the CX which is really janky tbh. More aggressive would make resizing more painful.
I don’t see this as solving any major issue with the game though. Bad returns on some T1 buildings like pp1 are a much bigger issue imo.
