Cannot start flight - ship remains stationary

After returning from a mission and attempting to fly back to Promitor, the Ship Flight Control window initially showed “Component failed to render”.

After relogging, Flight Control opens normally and route planning works. Fuel requirements are calculated correctly and sufficient fuel is available. However, when pressing “Start”, nothing happens and the ship remains in “Stationary” status.

The issue here is that the navigation pathfinder calculates a path using gateways. You do not have enough AIC to pay for the gateway passage. Unfortunately instead of just highlighting this fact we run into an error. I hope to fix that with the next maintenance release.

As a workaround please disable “use gateways” in the route options and start your flight.
