will JUI and HEX be excluded from the inflation math?

After a few days we saw a drop in the number of taken plots. It is not much, but it is a beginning.

On Proxion, we’ve seen a drop from COGC being calculated from 774 to 536 bases. That represents a drop to 70% of the previous COGC costs. One base contributes to about 900 CIS of CoGC costs there, about 215,000 CIS that doesn’t need to collected from the players there for those inactive bases.

That’s quite a bit “much” and goes a significant way to making sure that the planet is able to support itself without excess taxes on predominantly new players.

My crystal ball says that we’ll see another drop in about three months when the players who didn’t return after the second inactivity threshold.

Montem, Vallis and Promitor have also seen a drop of 200+ bases, Verdant had over 50 free plots again and I haven’t checked the rest.

I would suggest excluding the bottom 20% least traded commodities by $ volume.

There’s a very long tail (mostly ship parts) that doesn’t have good pricing.

Also, I think there’s a bug with the INFL data. Drones in NCC are up 1,000,000%.
