It would be nice to have outer region cx’s like Hubur and associated starting world when the next universe spawns for those of a more adventurous nature allowing people to work in towards the core not just outwards from ‘civilization’
my idea is to get rid of plots and replace it with the planets total area and then make it where you only need 1 permit per base and institut area points a starting player starts out with 10k points and gets 5k with each headquarter upgrade 1 area costs a minimum of 10 area points
a planet will have multiple pools of area a person’s first 500 area will go into the first pool the second 500 will go into the second pool and so on 1st in a pool will be first
the first 50% of a planet’s area will cost 10 area points the next 20% will cost 12 area points the next 10% will cost 15 ap the next 10% 18 the next 5% 20 the next 5% 25
starter planets will have 25% reserved for first bases
starter planets will also have 2 extra pools
pools will decide how many area points you are using
the the first starter pool comes the cheapest then the second starter pool then the first regular pool then the second reguler pool and so on
is this to complicated?
Either it’s too complicated, or you didn’t explain it very well, because I don’t understand exactly what you’re proposing. Maybe if you give some examples it would help?
I have a thought for a system change. What if you did a soft cap of 100 plots in faction space, but if you have less than or equal to 5 bases, you are allowed to be placed over this cap. This allows new players flexibility to do whatever they want, and old players to burn down their existing worlds to respec into high demand worlds later on. Out-of-faction space would have either a higher limit or no limit.
