Greeting and let me give a reason for the title.
I am a returning player from 2024. I am starting on the same planet Deimos with Metallurgy to match the COGC and other reasons.
When going through the tutorial it gives an auto build option for the base on Deimos.
The autobuild ( all mats provided) are 2x HB1 2x Extractors and 2xSmelters.
I did all the above but what it does not show is that the total amount of pioneers needed for this is 220 not 200. So I would like to suggest allowing materials for another HB1 to be added and all the other tutorials reviewed to make sure full production with full workers is possible.
I do not think lowering the building count is a good idea as this setup works well and one more Hb1 i doubt would ever impact game play in any short or long term meaningful way.
