Timeout to "https://apex.prosperousuniverse.com"

For around 8h I can can not connect from my machine to “https://apex.prosperousuniverse.com”, any request is failing with timeout.

Access to https://prosperousuniverse.com is normal, and I didn’t have this issue with any other website.

I can connect in my account without problem doing a ssh tunnel from one server hosted in Dream host.

While I can connect with a bit trouble, looks like something is broken in the way that could be affecting more people.

Similiar here.
I can connect with phone and mobile data.
Not with local internet (neither on phone nor a pc).
Thought I need to blame my internet provider…

Looks like a network issue at Digital Ocean, although their status didn’t mention any outages yesterday. The website and the game itself are hosted at two different providers, probably the cause why one was working and the other not.

I assume everything is back to normal now?

@molp “Jein”. It is still almost timeouting, some times it is timeouting, but sometimes after around 50 seconds I receive a 302 redirect to the login page.

If I enter “https://apex.prosperousuniverse.com/login”, it is blazing fast. And after enter into the game, everything appears to be working.

Curl looks constant, root url 80% timeout, 20% redirect to login .Curl on /login alawys come fast. On browser I am a bit confused, before didn’t work, after enter /login works, now both just or url apepars to be very fast, or very slow. All those tests I keep one tab logged, and all still works fine.

Let me do a bet :smiley: I bet your auth database is smoking and you use some self sign token, when you land on root url he need to query the smoking DB to decide where to redirect and can timeout, if he has your token or a login page that don’t have same decision, all go fast.

EDIT: a bet that I problably lose as it don’t explain why proxy it works
